Who is Heikki Karstu?

My goal is to create meaningful stories that cut through the noise. Whether that means blog posts, advertisements, social media campaigns or designing brand identities, I want to craft stories and experiences that make the world a more interesting place.

As a person, I consider myself to have an artistic mind with a soul of an athlete. I enjoy arts in all forms, especially literature, poetry and music. On the other hand, I’m a competitive and hard-working team player, who always aims for quality. I believe that if one does something, one might as well do it as well as possible. Playful seriousness is the mindset I always try to keep. And learning new stuff everyday, that’s pretty fun, too.

Basic facts about me:

• 25-year old BBA student from Helsinki.

• Currently studying in Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and I major in marketing and communications.

• In the past, I have done all kinds of work ranging from audio design to working as a moving man. And even though I have to admit some of the stuff – like washing car tires – really weren’t exactly my cup of tea, they’ve still taught me discipline and given perspective.

My hobbies include reading, writing, playing guitar and running. I’m also a huge fan of Finnish football (yes, I’m serious).
